As he was walking home one evening, a man heard an SUV sputtering and backfiring. As it reached the top of a hill he heard a loud "BANG" and saw flames coming from under the hood. He ran down into the ditch to help the driver. In those few short seconds, the fire had burned through the firewall and into the passenger compartment. Image Studio celebrates 20 years!

Bobby Mayer, Jr. is the firm's president and chief consultant.
He began his professional career in 1982 as a graphic designer and photographer in Arizona.
He prepared presentation graphics and photographs of vehicular and aircraft accidents and criminal incidents for the US Air Force, US Navy, USAF Judge Advocate General, the Pentagon and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
Mr. Mayer relocated to Tallahassee in 1990, where he worked for an internationally recognized, full-service consulting and forensic engineering firm.

Crashes are recorded by a variety of cameras.
We build an accurate model of the scene and vehicles, match the camera positions, then position the vehicles in each frame.

For complex structures with many components, we recommend printing labeled illustration on large boards so jurors can refer to them during testimony.
The three dimensional computer models can be used with a 3d printer to create a physical scale model for experts and attorneys to reference as needed.
