We help churches and other Christian organizations craft facilities that enable them to do ministry more effectively. Our process in Strategic Planning is designed to help you find the answers you are looking for. We are not like other architectural firms. If you already know exactly what you want to build, then there are many architects and builders that can help you.
Our starting point is to understand your ministry, vision, needs, obstacles and resources. We want to get inside the head and heart of your ministry before designing anything. Our process gets key stakeholders on-board early and fosters unity in the body which is so essential to having a successful capital campaign. We work diligently to balance project objectives so that the best possible outcomes are realized.
Over the past 30 years we've worked with hundreds of churches and collected a wealth of knowledge. We serve as guides through the very complex path to the realization of a project - whether a new building, an addition or a renovation.

Developing this Plan is the starting point for our work with most churches.
The Strategic Facility Plan is a specific building design with associated costs that can be implemented in phases over time as the church continues to grow.
To implement a design that we have developed, we provide what is known as full-scope services.
It entails producing detailed construction drawings and specifications, including structural, mechanical and electrical engineering.
We help you get qualified contractors on-board, either through competitive bid or a negotiated agreement with a construction manager.

Before we design anything, we want to understand your church's vision, values and culture - your unique DNA.
We also need accurate information on ministry area populations, historic growth along with finances.
We advocate an initial process that enables a rapid yet thorough assessment, often jump-started through a weekend intensive that helps staff, leadership, key volunteers and the congregation to focus on the future possibilities.
The following 7 steps are fairly typical of what is involved to get to the point of having a strategic master plan and design with budget costs and a project schedule.

The majority of your people cannot really see what is planned from a 2-dimensional drawing.
That is why we work in 3-D and create images and videos that make your plan come to life.
We generate these views all throughout the design process so that you can see and approve - or have us adjust the design - inside and out.
Once you are satisfied, we can deliver high resolution rendered images for promotion and publication.
By virtually taking off the roof, the walls, doors and even furniture layout appears in a way that is clear, helping people see how the design will serve ministry.
