Founded in 1981, Yeates and Yeates Architects, LLC is located in the historic warehouse district of New Orleans. Yeates and Yeates Architects is a professional architectural design firm dedicated to its mission of providing quality services in the areas of pre-design, programming, design, construction administration, interior design, estimating, code analysis and review, zoning analysis, budgeting services, comprehensive review and assessment of existing facilities, public presentations, renderings and 3D Modeling.
The firm was founded in 1981 and has been in the continuous practice of architecture in and around metropolitan New Orleans, as well as the surrounding parishes since that time. The two partners are Cynthia Yeates and Z. Ames Yeates, AIA. Cynthia and Ames have both been licensed to practice in the State of Louisiana since 1981. They believe in a "hands on" approach in the day to day practice of the firm and enjoy involvement in every project.

Yeates and Yeates Architects provided full A/E services for the St. Tammany Parish School Board for an addition and renovation to the existing Chahta-Ima Elementary School.
The existing pre-kindergarten through 3rd grade school is comprised of several buildings spread out on the site.
This made it difficult to regulate and monitor entry to the campus.
The new addition added a centralized entry and administration core to the campus for students, parents and visitors.
The new entry and administration addition includes a reception area, various administrative offices, conference room, visitor restroom and a first aid office and restroom.

Fannie C. Williams School

Yeates and Yeates Architects provided the Recovery School District with full architectural and engineering services for the design of the new Fannie C. Williams School in New Orleans East.
The new school was designed to achieve LEED Silver certification.
However, through these and other methods, the design team met and exceeded their goal of LEED Silver certification, acquiring LEED Gold.
The new 99,000 square foot facility is situated in an east/west orientation on the 16 acre site to maximize daylighting opportunities while passively shading wide openings.

Yeates and Yeates Architects provided full A/E Services for the design of this new Pre-Kindergarten through 12th Grade school in lower Plaquemines Parish, Louisiana.
The 2-story school building was designed to educate 600 students and is approximately 100,000 square feet.
The new school encompasses state of the art classrooms and administrative areas, a large commercial kitchen/cafeteria, a large media center and gymnasium (complete with associated locker rooms and toilet/shower facilities).
The new school also encompasses new band, choir and music practice rooms, science labs and a carpentry workshops.

Yeates and Yeates Architects is currently providing full A/E services (design through completion of construction) for the new Pre-Kindergarten through 8th Grade Lake Pontchartrain Elementary School for the St. John the Baptist Parish School Board.
The previous school at this location was damaged by flood waters from Hurricane Isaac.
Once the decision to build a new school was made, a separate "demolition" bid package apart from the new replacement school was developed to expedite the demolition of the old school.

John Preparatory Academy.
