Business Details
We are a luxury residential design studio dedicated to creating homes that are both refined and deeply livable. Founded by Mardie Engelhardt, we bring a background in architecture, interior design, and construction to every project. Our approach is built from the inside out, ensuring that every space functions, flows, and feels as intended. We consider proportion, light, materiality, and detail as integral components before final layers are added. This focus on technical design creates clarity and continuity, resulting in natural, cohesive, and enduring spaces. We limit the number of projects each year to provide a highly tailored and focused experience.
Our clients value the clarity, confidence, and ease they feel throughout the entire process. We begin each project with a conversation to understand your lifestyle, desired feeling, and vision. Our design development phase refines drawings, material selections, and specifications to bring depth and cohesion. We coordinate construction documents, working closely with architects, builders, and consultants to ensure accurate execution. Our involvement continues through installation and beyond, offering ongoing support as your home evolves. We commit to delivering intentional, trendfree homes that feel effortless yet are anything but accidental.

Consultation
Consultation initiates every project with a detailed conversation about your lifestyle, desired home feel, and overarching vision. This foundation establishes a clear, thoughtful design direction that aligns with your goals and expectations. It ensures that subsequent design phases are built upon a shared understanding and intentional purpose.
Concept & Interior Architecture
Concept & Interior Architecture develops the overall design vision, integrating space planning, interior architecture, and early design concepts. It defines how the home will function and flow, ensuring every decision aligns with your lifestyle and aesthetic goals. This intentional alignment guarantees a cohesive experience that feels natural and enduring.
Design Development & Specifications
Design Development refines the vision through detailed drawings, material selections, and specifications that bring depth and cohesion to the home. We curate finishes, lighting, and furnishings, ensuring each element is considered in relation to the whole. Budget alignment during this phase provides clarity and confidence throughout the construction process.
Documentation & Project Management
Documentation & Project Management produces detailed construction documents that guide the building process with precision. We collaborate closely with architects, builders, and consultants to ensure design intent is clearly communicated and executed. This oversight guarantees that every detail meets the established standards and client expectations.
Execution & Installation
Execution & Installation keeps us closely involved through construction and final installation, coordinating deliveries and overseeing every detail. Our precision in overseeing final layers ensures the home feels seamless and fully realized. The result is a finished space that embodies the intentional design and enduring quality promised.
