Due to the complexity of design and construction, most projects are broken down into steps or Phases. At BAI, we are a family. Some of us are related by blood and we strive to make those that aren't feel like part of the family. As a second-generation family business, our team has strong family values and we hope to promote this now and into the future.
Our team is diverse in background. This helps us to motivate and inspire each other. We believe in excellence in all that we do and are especially enthusiastic about architecture. Should you ask if we build tree houses, I will respond, 'I would be happy to design and build you a 'TreeHouse', even one that goes in a tree.

Due to the complexity of design and construction, most projects are broken down into steps or "phases."
Smaller projects may involve combining some phases and larger projects may require additional phases.
Each phase, when complete, is approved by the client before proceeding to the next.
This step by step process insures strong communication and understanding of the design elements, providing an opportunity for a review with all team members and a chance to compare the design with initial expectations and budget.

This 3,500 square foot retail building accommodates Starbucks and a second tenant.
It is designed to have a clean, modern look yet be easy to construct with wood framing methods typically used in residential construction.
During the design process, we applied our engineering know-how to reduce costs while maintaining a sophisticated appearance.

After searching throughout Oregon, deGarde Brewing settled on Tillamook as their base of operations due to the particular ecology of the local yeasts.
Therefore, when it came time to build a brewery and tasting room, it seemed an obvious choice to adaptively re-use an existing building, to capture more of the local yeasts in their beermaking process.
The existing reinforced concrete structure, built in the 1940s, required extensive structural upgrades to provide adequate seismic resistance and support a second floor barrel warehouse.
