Cerminara Boathouse
Report
Building on the footprint of a grandfathered structure presented the opportunity to design a boathouse with living quarters, including a kitchen, bedroom and a bathroom, which the APA does not allow for new construction.
The layout is creatively arranged to fit two boat slips, while the timber-frame design maximizes lake views.
A classic Adirondack boathouse with a Japanese arts and crafts feel is a nod to the time the client spent in Japan.
Williams Boathouse
Report
The aesthetic and functionality of this boathouse is maximized within the APA restrictions.
Because of Black Mountain's many years of experience designing in the Adirondack Park, we understand the process of working with the APA and the DEC.
Our knowledge of the regulations and the relationships we have developed in the agencies allow us to judiciously guide clients through the permitting process.
This comfortable boathouse is beautiful from the lake and the shore.
An upper deck increases the space for enjoyment of the property's spectacular Adirondack views.
Solara
Report
Phase 1 of this 248 unit luxury net zero living community is nearly complete and the contractor and developer are gearing up to begin Phase 2 in the Fall of 2019.
This sequel to netZero Village allowed the integrated design team, led by Black Mountain Architecture, to build upon our shared experience of the netZero Village project.
