Our approach emphasizes maximizing utility while ensuring compliance with zoning regulations and accessibility standards, as demonstrated in projects like the TI Park Guzzel Building renovation.
Historic Preservation
We specialize in preserving historic structures while incorporating modern amenities. Our work includes restoring architectural details like timber beams and Victorian gingerbread elements, as seen in the Historic Bluff Island Boathouse project. We navigate complex permitting processes to maintain historical integrity while meeting contemporary needs for functionality and safety.
Landscape Design
Our landscape design services focus on creating cohesive outdoor environments that complement architectural projects. We design elements like terraces, gardens, and waterfront access points to enhance usability and aesthetic appeal. Projects such as the Wellesley Island Cabana & Pool demonstrate our ability to integrate natural vistas with functional outdoor living areas.
Sustainable Building
We incorporate eco-friendly practices into every project, from solar-powered island homes to energy-efficient commercial buildings. Our approach includes using reclaimed materials, optimizing natural light, and designing for passive climate control. The Navajo Affordable Housing Project exemplifies our commitment to sustainability through straw-bale construction and traditional timber framing techniques.
