We are a firm dedicated to promoting affordable housing and environmental responsibility through architecture, planning, and advocacy. Our principal, Larry Mayers, brings more than 15 years of experience in delivering successful affordable family, senior, and special-needs housing projects. During his career, he has held a leadership role in the creation of well over a thousand units of affordable housing. We established Mayers Architecture in 2007 to provide direct, personal, and efficient service to our clients. Our work includes a complete adaptive re-use of a vacant office building into a 43-unit affordable senior independent living community. We also design highly livable pedestrian-friendly environments featuring one, two, and three bedroom units of affordable family rental housing.
Our projects have achieved LEED Gold Certification and Green Point Rating, reflecting our commitment to sustainability. Site and Building Design

Construction Services
We provide observation for conformance with design intent throughout the construction phase. Our team reviews submittals, RFIs, change orders, and payment requests. We also conduct punch lists, inspections, and final closeout procedures.
Renovation and Adaptive Re-Use
We offer forensic analysis and needs assessments for existing buildings requiring renovation. Our team develops work plans and phasing studies to minimize resident disruption. We also provide entitlement support and community outreach coordination.
